Winston-Salem N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University volleyball team wrap-up regular season defeating Fayetteville State University 3-0, inside Whitaker Gymnasium.
The Rams improved to 16-9 (13-3 CIAA) on the season.

In set one, the Rams took a 4-3 lead on a Kamiyah Wilson kill. A Broncos attack error gave the Rams a 10-7 lead. The Rams extended their lead to 13-9, on a Broncos error. FSU cut the Rams lead to 17-16 with a kill. The Rams went on a 4-0 run, taking a 22-18 lead on a Holiday Ellis kill. The Rams took set one 25-22.
In set two, an attack error gave the Rams a 3-0 lead. The Rams extended their lead to 7-2, on a Holiday Ellis ace. The Broncos cut the lead to 7-5, on a Rams bad set. The Rams went on a 4-0 run, taking a 14-10 lead, on a Kamiyah Wilson kill. The Broncos went on a 6-0 run, taking a 16-14 lead, on a Rams attack error. A Kamiyah ace tied the game at 18-18. FSU went on a 3-0 run, taking a 22-19 lead on a Rams attack error. WSSU went on a 4-0 run, taking a 24-22 lead on a Holiday Ellis kill. FSU tied the Rams at 24-24 on an ace. A Holiday Ellis kill gave the Rams match point, helping the Rams take set two 26-24.
In set three, the Rams took a 4-3 on a Broncos attack error. FSU took a 7-6 lead on a kill. The Rams went a 4-1 run, taking a 12-9 lead on an FSU attack error. WSSU went on a 5-1 run, extending their lead to 19-12 on a Zoe Chesson kill. The Rams closed out the set on a 6-2 run, taking set three 25-14.
