WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Holiday Ellis from the Winston-Salem State University volleyball team has been named to the Division II Conference Commision Association (D2CCA) All-Region Second Team.

Ellis, a graduate student from Inglewood, Californa was also named Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Offensive Player of the Year and named to the All-CIAA First Team. She finished the season with 312 kills, 797 total attacks, 16 assists and 352.5 points. She lead the conference in hitting percentage (.251) and also recorded 240 digs.

Ellis is the lone student-athlete to be named from the CIAA. East Stroudsburg's Anna Coulter has been selected as the D2CCA Atlantic Region Player of the Year.

Ellis and the Rams were also the CIAA Southern Division Co-Champions.
