WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Winston-Salem State University football team is back in action with spring ball beginning.

All practices will take place at Civitan Park.

"It's that time of year, football is in the air, and everyone is excited," said head coach Robert Massey. "We have about 100 kids out here participating and our goal is to get better as we begin our quest to win the CIAA championship."

Most practices this spring will be in the afternoons from 4-6 p.m. The spring game will take place on April 5th at Carver High School at 1 p.m. Entry to the game is free! Come out for the game, check out the vendors, see the band and Powerhouse of Red and White as well as purchase season tickets.
