WINSTON-SALEM, NC — Winston-Salem State University is proud to announce that Head Football Coach Robert Massey, standout quarterback Daylin Lee, and defensive leader Kairon Martin will represent the program at the 2025 CIAA Football Media Day, to be held Wednesday, July 17, in Durham, North Carolina.

The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Media Day serves as the official kickoff to the football season, bringing together coaches, players, media, and conference officials to preview the year ahead. This year's event promises exciting updates as teams prepare to compete for the CIAA Championship.

The two-day event features meetings, social media pictures, community service and a question-and-answer segment.

Coach Massey, entering his fifth season with the program, will address the media alongside Lee and Martin, two returning leaders expected to make a major impact this season.

Daylin Lee, a dynamic quarterback known for his poise and playmaking ability, totaled 1728 yards for 14 touchdowns and five interceptions. He also added five rushing touchdowns on 155 yards.

Kairon Martin, a dominant force on the defensive side of the ball, returns as one of the conference's top linebackers after a standout junior season. He played in all 10 games for the Rams recording 31 total tackles and two sacks.

Media Day will include interviews with conference representatives, a preseason team poll release, and insights from each program as the CIAA continues to build excitement toward the opening kickoff in late August.
