SANFORD, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University men's golf team finished in second place at the two-day CIAA Southern Division Tournament with a +53 at Quail Ridge.
The Rams posted a three-round team score of +53, placing just behind tournament champion Bluefield State (+48) and ahead of host Fayetteville State (+55) in a tightly contested field battling challenging course conditions that featured firm greens and shifting winds throughout the tournament.
Winston-Salem State placed two golfers inside the top 10, highlighting the team's depth and steady play:
Both golfers played a key role in keeping the Rams in contention throughout the tournament, delivering consistent rounds against a competitive conference field.
