Lady Rams Shut Out Johnson C. Smith for 9-0 Win at CIAA Round-Up

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (13-1, 6-0 CIAA) continue to be one of the hottest teams in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) with a 9-0 win over the Johnson C. Smith Lady Golden Bulls on the opening day of the CIAA Round-Up.

The Lady Rams began the weekend on a high note with a sweep of doubles play over the Lady Golden Bulls, 8-2, 8-0, and 8-3. The sophomore duo of Sloane Holmes and Bianka Lockear dominated their doubles competition with an 8-0 shutout. The Lady Rams also swept singles play with sophomore Kalin Jarvis and freshman Chelsea Chatman leading the way with 6-0, 6-0 singles wins.
