CARY, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University golf team finished in fifth place at the SAS Championship HBCU Invitational at the Prestonwood Country Club on October 15-16.
WSSU finished with a team score of 938 (+98).
Alex Chenard had the highest finish for the Rams, tying for 17th with a score of 228. Teammate
Jacob Moore finished with the same score of 228.
Ahmad Raoul and
Tyler Thomas both finished with scores of 241, and
Tasj Brown finished with a score of 176.
The Rams will conclude their fall campaign on Monday, October 24 at the River City Classic in Richmond, Virginia at the Belmont Golf Club/James River.
