BOWIE, MD - The Winston-Salem State Rams opened up their 2022 season at the CIAA Roundup hosted by Bowie State University. The Rams took on the Bulldogs of Bowie State, Vikings of Elizabeth City State, and the Panthers of Virginia Union. 

The Rams finished the day 0-3 overall.

The Rams were led by junior Shajada Barrett who had an amazing weekend in the CIAA round-up. She won her singles match 4-0 against Virginia Union, then turned around and won doubles 6-2. She also won her singles match with a score of 8-1 against Elizabeth City.
