CHARLOTTE- The Winston-Salem State University tennis team took on the Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith, on a lovely sunny Friday afternoon, at the Dr. Coleman/James O. Cuthbertson Jr. Tennis Complex.

The Rams fall to a score of 4-0. 

In doubles play, the Rams duo of Shajada Barrett and Anthonia Smith made an outstanding effort to get into the scorebook but were overpowered by the Golden Bulls. 

In singles play, Athonia Smith scored in her second set against the Golden Bull's Kyndall Ragins but eventually would drop that second match. The Rams were swept on the day. 

The WSSU tennis team will be back in action on Tuesday, April 19th, at 4 pm at the WSSU Tennis Courts hosting Virginia State.
