WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University tennis team defeated Livingstone Wednesday afternoon at the WSSU Tennis Courts.
The Rams won 5-1 moving to 3-8 on the season.
In doubles, the pairs of Breona Young and Angel Bowden won their set, 8-4 over Livingstone's Keyvana Resper and Azia Thomas. Jericka Brodie and Olivia Stephens also won with a score of 8-1 over Sariah D'empaire-Salomon and Yadielis Diaz-Ubiera.
In singles, the Rams kept things rolling having victories from Shajada Barrett, Anthonia Smith, Breona Young, and Jericka Brodie.
WSSU will be back in action on April 26 at the CIAA Quarters Championships.
