ETTRICK, Va. -  The Winston-Salem State University tennis team fell to Shaw University in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) semifinals Friday morning at the Virginia State Tennis Complex.

The Rams finished the season 4-9 after falling 0-4.

Anja Antoijevic and Sevval Ozseker defeated Breona Young and Angel Bowden 6-0 in doubles. The pair of Jericka Brodie and Olivia Stephens fell 6-0 to Chetna Kumari and Kundai Manyonga.

In singles, Breona Young earned the lone point for the Rams but eventually fell 8-1.
