WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. –The Winston-Salem State University Women's track and field team will stay in Winston-Salem this weekend to compete in the COROS Collegiate Challenge at the JDL Fast Track.

The Winston-Salem State University Indoor Track and Field Team had a great outing at the COROS Collegiate Challenge at the JDL Fast Track Lane.
Highlighted by
Kennedy Alexander who finished first in the high jump with an NCAA qualifying mark of 1.68m (5'6").
Asia Lampe also did great in the field events finishing second in the shot put with a mark of 12.59m (41'3.75).

Athletes of the Week
- Ronee Tudor and Kenndey Alexander swept the CIAA Food Lion Weekly Awards for week four. To read the whole story click Here
- Kennedy Alexander was named the CIAA Food Lion Women's Field Athlete of the Week for week one. She placed first in the JDL Early Bird Invitational with an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark of 1.68 (5'6") meters. The senior also posted a time of 26.85 in the 200-meter dash.
