LINCOLN, Pa. - The Winston-Salem State University women's basketball team comes up short to Lincoln University (Pa) 58-53 inside Manuel Rivero Hall.
The Rams moved to (5-6, 0-2 CIAA).
Christiana McLean led the Rams with 12 points, and
Amaya Tucker scored nine points.
Sierra Hunter also scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds

The Rams went 23-of-54 from the field, and 6 -of-12 from the free-throw line. The Rams grabbed 40 rebounds and scored 40 points in the paint, and 10 second-chance points. They forced 20 turnovers.
In the first quarter, both offenses struggled to score as
Christiana McLean made a lay-up, scoring 8-3 at the end of the quarter. In the second quarter, the Rams extended their lead to 12-3 on a 9-0 run.
Amaya Tucker pushed the Rams lead back to eight with a made lay-up 20-12 with 2:16 left. The Rams took a 22-16 lead into halftime.
In the second half, the Lions outscored the Rams 27-11 in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Rams started the quarter on a 7-0 run highlighted by a
Chloe Williams lay-up making the score 43-42 Lions with 7:20 left. The Lions answered back with a 6-0 run pushing the score to 49-42 with 6:20 left.
La'Niya Simes cut the lead to three with a lay-up of 49-46 with 5:34 left.
Chloe Williams cut the Lion's lead down to one 52-51 with 2:55 left.
Sierra Hunter made a lay-up, scoring 54-53 Lions with 1:01 left but it was not enough.
