CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University tennis team went 1-1 last weekend defeating Johnson C. Smith on Saturday but were defeated by Averett University on Sunday.

Tamia Bennett and Brooke Higgins gave a great effort against Amelie Brune and Elisa Battermann but lost 6-3.
