WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University men's and women's cross team is set to compete in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Championships in Salem, Virginia on tomorrow, October 24th.

Last Time Out
The women captured first place at the Livingstone Cross Country Invitational, while the men finished in fourth place. Elicia Bryant finished in first place overall and was named the CIAA Women's Athlete of the Week after running a time of 20:08.1.

Last Time at Championships
The WSSU women scored 76 points to claim second place at the CIAA championships last season. On the men's side, the men finished with a total of 308 points.  Cecil Hairston Jr. had the top time among the Rams, running a time of 33:26.7.
