WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University men's cross-country team concluded its season at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) cross country championships Thursday afternoon in Salem, Virgina.
The Rams finished in ninth place overall (score of 253), with
Zachary Patrick leading the way with a top-20 finish coming in 18th place with a time of 28:20.9.
Senior,
Cecil Hairston Jr, finished in 44th place with a time of 31:50.7.
Henry Weah ran a time of 35:05.0,
E'Maije Ambrose ran a time of 37:18.7 and right behind him was
Christian Brown with a time of 38:53.9.
Virginia State won the entire meet with a score of 45, Fayetteville finished in second with a score of 46 and Claflin finished third with a score of 85.
