Wilson, N.C. - The Winston-Salem State University women's basketball team had a strong second half, defeating Barton College 56-54, inside the Wilson Gymnasium.
The Rams improved (4-1, 0-0 CIAA) on the season
Nevaeh Farmer led the Rams with 16 points, followed by both
Makayla Waleed and
Maia Charles with 11 points.

In the second quarter, the Rams went on an 8-0 run, trimming the Barton lead to 18-17 on a
Maia Charles lay-up (5:42). A
