CHARLOTTE, N.C. (February 7, 2025) - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) announces the 2025 All-CIAA preseason softball team and predicted order of finish, as voted on by the CIAA Sports Information Directors Association.
7 of the 11 players on the 2025 preseason team were on the 2024 All-CIAA team, all seven were first-team honorees.
Virginia State leads the preseason team with four selections, followed by Bowie State and Winston-Salem State with two each.
Claflin was picked to win the Southern Division title and Bowie State was selected to win the Northern Division crown.
Last year the Rams finished the season 19-20, 12-4 CIAA and a perfect 10-0 in the South and was named the Southern Division champs.
Mirianda Wilson and Malia Simons was also named to the CIAA Preseason team.
