WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State women's tennis team pick up its first win of the season against Livingstone College on Saturday afternoon at Salem Tennis Courts.
The Rams won 5-2.
How it Happened
In doubles, the duo of
Semmie Moore and
Iyana Nickens earned a point after winning 6-2.
Briana Drew and
Dezirae Black-Macon earned the win by default.
In singles,
Brooke Higgins won her match 10-8 as well as
Iyana Nickens (6-4,6-3),
Briana Drew (6-0, 6-1) and
Dezirae Black-Macon won by default.
WSSU will be back in action this weekend April 11-12 in Petersburg, Virginia making up the CIAA Roundup.
