Indiana, P.A.- The Winston-Salem State University women's basketball team fell to Indiana University of Pennsylvania 65-64, inside the Kovalchick Convention & Athletic Complex. 

The Rams finished 28-4 (14-2 CIAA, 8-2 South) on the season.

Maia Charles was named to the All-Tournamnet Team. Ah'Kiyah Pye led the Rams with 16 points, followed by both Makayla Waleed and Alana Biosse chipping in with 11 points.

The Rams went 25-of-62 from the field, 7-for-17 from three, and 7-of-14 from the free-throw line, grabbed 32 rebounds, forced 19 turnovers, scored 30 points in the paint, and had 13 steals.  
 
How It Happened
In the first quarter, a Jakaiya Mack lay-up gave the Rams a 6-4 (5:03). IUP went on an 8-0 run, taking a 12-6 lead on a three-pointer (2:18). WSSU closed out the quarter on a 9-2 run, taking a 15-14 lead into the second quarter.

In the second quarter, the Rams went on a 9-0 run, extending their lead to 24-14 on an Alana Biosse three-pointer (7:34). The Crimson Hawks cut the lead to 27-20 on a lay-up (5:45). IUP closed out the half on a 7-2 run, giving the Rams a 32-27 into halftime. 

In the third quarter, the Crimson Hawks went on a 5-0 run, tying the game at 32-32 on a three-pointer (9:18). Makayla Waleed gave the Rams a 37-34 lead on a three-pointer (7:04). Makayla Waleed tied the game at 40-40 on a three-pointer (4:33). The Rams took a 48-45 on a Makayla Waleed lay-up (1:46). WSSU took a 50-47 into the fourth quarter. 

In the fourth quarter, Alana Biosse gave the Rams a 55-52 lead on a three-pointer (6:50). IUP tied the game at 58-58 on a jumper (3:59). Makayla Waleed gave the Rams a 63-60 lead on a lay-up (1:00). A Ah'Kiyah Pye's free-throw made the score 64-60 with 36 seconds remaining. The Crimson Hawks hit the go-ahead three-pointer with 6 seconds remaining. Breonna Roaf missed the game-winning jumper as time expired.
