Salisbury, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University women's tennis team defeated Livingstone College 4-1 Tuesday afternoon.
How it Happened
The Rams earned a point in doubles after
Mckinley Battle and
Iyana Nickens match retired and
Kyla Burns and Makayla Stewart won 6-2.
In singles,
Mckinley Battle won her match 6-1 and 6-1.
Kyla Burns won her match by default and Makyla Stewart won her match 6-0, and 6-1.
Iyana Nickens and
Iyana Barber's matches both went unfinished.
WSSU will be back in action on Tuesday, April 21 at Johnson C. Smith. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. in Charlotte, North Carolina.
