WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (11-6, 8-1 CIAA) bounced back for an 8-1 win over the Fayetteville State Lady Broncos, Saturday morning on the second day of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division Round-Up. After their morning start was delayed due to inclement weather, the Lady Rams never missed a beat as they took a win over the Lady Broncos.
The Lady Rams got things started early when they took three straight wins in doubles play, 8-3, 8-3, and a win by default. The team kept things going with a 5-1 record in singles play. WSSU sophomore Kalin Jarvis had the most impressive singles win with a 6-2, 6-2 victory.
