SALISBURY, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University women's cross country team captured first place at the Livingstone Invitational at Salisbury Park.
The Rams finished the 5000-meter run with a total time of 1:56.43 to take the victory.
Vanessa Jones also captured first place finishing with a time of 20:08.1.
Tinasia Davis finished in fourth place with a time of 22:10.7.
Wynter Stample also finished in the top ten coming in eighth with a time of 22:57.3.
Daijion Lee finished with a time of 24:56.3 and
Zynobia Ugbong ran a time of 26:30.4, while
Imani Tatum ran a time of 29:58.9.
The women will compete next week at the CIAA cross country championships in Salem, Virginia on October 27.
