WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – As the Winston-Salem State University men's and women's basketball teams get ready to begin Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) play in the next couple of weeks, the marketing department has announced the following game will have free admission with the bringing of a canned food item or toiletry item.
The Rams will host Lincoln (Pa) on Thursday, December 15th, Virginia Union on Saturday, December 17
th, and Bowie State on Monday, December 19 before heading into the winter break. Ram fans can enter all three games for free if they bring a canned food or toiletry item.
The Rams are looking to stock up their pantry as well as donate the items. As you come to cheer on WSSU you will also help us give back to the community for the holiday season.
All games are double headers with the weekday games starting at 5:30, the men will play at 7:30, the weekend games starting at 2:00 p.m., and the men playing at 4:00 p.m.
Please remember all the WSSU athletic events will follow clear bag guidelines, where only clear or transparent bags (not exceeding 12" x 12" x 6") are allowed. Hand-size bags with or without shoulder straps are permitted.
