LEXINGTON, Va. – The Winston-Salem State University women's indoor track and field team had a great showing at the VMI Winter Classic over the two-day meet.

- Kennedy Alexander had another NCAA qualifying mark capturing second place in the high jump, 1.65m (5'5").
- Janiyah Ross and Amiyah Murray both jumped a mark of 1.45m (4'9") in the high jump.
- Tionna Wilson jumped a mark of 5.30m (17'4.75") in the long jump and Jayla Warren jumped 4.69m (15'4.75").
- Jayla Warren finished in ninth place in the triple jump with a mark of 10.78m (35'4.5"). Kyndall Barrow had a mark of 10.45m (34'3.5") and Nia Hester jumped 9.62m (31'6.75").
- Asia Lampe finished fifth in the shot put with a mark of 12.34m (40'6").
The Rams are back in action on Friday, February 3 at the Camel City Invitational at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
