Golf Finishes Eighth at the Ram Shootout at the Pines

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University men's golf team hosted the Ram Shootout at the Pines at Mid Pines Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

The Rams finished with a total score of 665. Alex Chenard led the Rams in scoring, finishing with a total score of 161 after two rounds to finish in 34^th place.

• Zach Groce also tied for 35th finishing with a score of (161) R1 82, R2 79.
• Ahmad Raoul finished in 41st place with a score of (171) R1 82, R2 89.
• Tyler Thomas finished in 42nd place with a score of (172) R1, 81 R2 91.
• Desmond Norris finished with scores of (181), R1 92, R2 89.
• Cameron Witherspoon had a total score of (182), R1 92, R2 90
• Kaden Rogers scored a (191) R1 98, R2 93

The Rams will be back in action on March 12 at the Down East Shootout at the Belmont Lake Gold Club.
