Orangeburg, S.C. -  The Winston-Salem State University women's basketball team's win streak moves to sixteen, defeating Claflin University 50-41, inside the Tullis Arena. 

The Rams improved to (16-1, 7-0 CIAA, 2-0 South) on the season.

Jakaiya Mack led the Rams with nine points, followed by Nevaeh Farmer chipping in with eight points each.

The Rams went 18-of-57 from the field, 8-of-20 from three, and 6-of-12 from the free-throw line. The Rams grabbed 48 rebounds, scored 16 points in the paint, forced 17 turnovers, scored 14 points off turnovers, and had nine steals. 
 
 How It Happened
In the first quarter, the Rams took a 7=2 lead on a Breonna Roaf jumper (7:31). The Panthers went on a 6-2 run, cutting the lead 9-8 on a lay-up (2:56). WSSU took a 13-8 lead into the second quarter. 

In the second quarter, WSSU went on a 5-1 run, extending their lead to 18-9 on a Nevaeh Farmer lay-up (7:59). Another Nevaeh Farmer lay-up gave the Rams a 23-13 lead (2:32). WSSU took a 23-15 lead into halftime. 

In the third quarter, a Breonna Roaf three-pointer extended the Rams lead to 30-17 (5:29). Claflin went on a 10-0 run, cutting the Rams lead to 30-27 (0:51) . A Nevaeh Farmer three-pointer gave the Rams a 33-27 lead going into the fourth quarter. 

In the fourth quarter, the Rams went on a 6-0 run, taking a 39-27 lead on a Ah'Kiyah Pye three-pointer (7:49). The Rams took their largest lead of the game 48-31 on a Chloe Williams three-pointer (3:08). A Panther three-pointer trimmed the lead to 48-37 (2:01). The Panthers couldn't close the deficit under five points
