HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University Rams kicked off the weekend competing at the VertKlasse Meet hosted by High Point University.
The Distance ladies kicked it off in the 1500m with
Rainn Sheppard finishing in 16 place with a time of the 4:45.66.
Elicia Bryant finished 25th (4:50.37),
Ava Millner 49th (5:06.37) and
Kayla Nobles 72nd (5:26.99).
On the field side,
Trinity Brooks and
Zoe Chesson competed in the high jump finishing with marks of 1.47m but coming in ninth and 15th place, respectively.
In the long jump,
Lanyjah Gunter came in 12th (5.51m),
Charnessa Reid finished in 30th place (5.53m), and
Trinity Brooks finished in 31st place (5.28m).
Competing in the javelin,
Terrya Montgomery finished in 21st place (31.77m) and
Maeghan Wallace 26th place (29.25m).
The Rams will be back in action tomorrow at the JCSU Collegiate Invitational hosted by Johnson C. Smith University on April 2nd.
