SALEM, VA – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (15-11) picked up a pair of key region wins when the team topped Gannon and Mansfield on the second day of the Salem Invitational Tournament. The Lady Rams opened the day with a 4-3 win over the Gannon Lady Knights behind the pitching of senior Brittany Lane. The team followed the effort with a big 3-1 win over the Mansfield Mounties with sophomore Monet Daly taking the pitching victory. The Lady Rams totaled six hits in the Mansfield game with Daly recording six strikeouts.
