Box Score 2 SALEM, VA – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (15-11)
picked up a pair of key region wins when the team topped Gannon and
Mansfield on the second day of the Salem Invitational Tournament.
The Lady Rams opened the day with a 4-3 win over the Gannon Lady
Knights behind the pitching of senior Brittany Lane. The team
followed the effort with a big 3-1 win over the Mansfield Mounties
with sophomore Monet Daly taking the pitching victory. The Lady
Rams totaled six hits in the Mansfield game with Daly recording six
strikeouts.
The Lady Rams will close out the tournament with a game against
