WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – For the fourth week in the row,
Charnessa Reid from the Winston-Salem State University women's outdoor track and field team has been named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Track Athlete of the Week, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.
Reid captured first place in the 100m hurdles with a nation's top-five time of 13.54 at the Southside Power & Fitness Invitational hosted by Lenior-Rhyne. She also ran on the 4x100m relay team which finished in first place with a time of 47.02.
On the field side, she finished in second place with a PR mark of 1.60m in the high jump.
Reid and the Rams will be back in action on April 17-18 at the Aggie Invitational hosted by North Carolina A&T State in Greensboro, North Carolina.
