ATLANTA, Ga. -The Winston-Salem State University Outdoor Track and Field Team had a great showing at the Morehouse Relays in Atlanta, Georgia. Overall, the Rams finished in fourth place as a team with 71 points.

How it happened – Track Events

Ronee Tudor finished second in the women's 100m dash finals with a time of 12.22.

Kelis Miller, Sadiyah McGregor, Nykaya Ebron, Erykah Baldwin, and Carrington Wise-Smith competed in the women's 100m dash and finished with times of 13.16, respectively 13.25, 13.32, 13.34, 13.86.

Daijion Lee, Kennedy Alexander, Kelis Miller, Jaynissa Cauthen, Taniyah Oates, Sadiyah McGregor, Kyla Houston, Jayla Warren, Nykaya Ebron, Amiyah Murray, Carrington Wise-Smith, Imani Tatum, and Nia Hester competed in the women's 200m dash and finished with times of 26.37, 26.84, 27.34, 27.35, 27.37, 27.73, 28.11, 28.34, 28.41, 28.49, 29.12, 29.25, 30.63 respectively.

Daijon Lee, Jaynissa Cauthen, Kyla Houston, Tinasia Davis, and Imani Tatum competed in the women's 400m and finished with times of 1:00.15, 1:02.09, 1:02.34, 1:02.68, 1:02.92 respectively.

Tamia Mclean finished first in the women's 800m run with a time of 2:21.95. Wynter Stample finished fifth and Vanessa Jones finished seventh with times of 2.28:01 and 2:30.88. Zynobia Ugbong finished with a time of 2:42.98.

Tamia Mclean, Wynter Stample, and Zynobia Ugbong, competed in the women's 1500 meters and finished with times of 5:23.52, 5:24.30, and 6:02.98 respectively.

Vanessa Jones finished second in the women's 5000 meters with a time of 20:36.54.

Amiyah Murray finished sixth in the women's 100m hurdles with a time of 16.66.

Jaynissa Cauthen and Tinasia Davis finished third and fourth in the women's 400 hurdles with times of 1:10.61 and 1:11.66 respectively.

The team of Daijion Lee, Amique Willis, Sadiyah McGregor, and Ronne Tudor finished third in the 4x100m relay with a time of 48.33.

The team of Kennedy Alexander, Angel Bowden, Nykaya Ebron, and Sadiyah McGregor finished with a fourth in the women's 400m relay with a time of 1:47.25.

In the women's 4x400m relay, the team of Daijon Lee, Tinasia Davis, Jaynissa Cauthn and Tamia Mclean finished sixth with a time of 4:00.06.

How It Happened Field- Field Events

Angel Bowden finished eighth in the high jump, 1.52m (4'11.75")

Nia Hester, Angel Bowden, and Erykah Baldwin competed in the women's long jump and finished with marks of 4.88m (16'0.25"), 4.71m (15'5.5"), and 4.65 (15'3.25") respectively.

Nia Hester competed in the women's triple jump with a mark of 9.76m (32'0.25").

Eriana Townes competed in the women's discus with a mark of 29.49 (96.9").

Asia Lampe, Angel Bowden, and Eriana Townes competed in the women's javelin and finished with marks of 21.10m (69'3"), 19.93m (65'5"), and 18.16m (59'7") respectively.

The Rams will be back in action Thursday, March 30th- April 1st in High Point, North Carolina for the Vertklasse Meeting
