HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State women's outdoor track and field team powered through the two-day VertKlasse Meet hosted by High Point University.
How it Happened – Friday events

• Olivia Cosby ran a time of 12.28 in the 100m participate. Kamauree Randolph ran a time of 12.49, while Lydia Chapple ran a time of 12.51 and Zaniah Field ran a time of 12.58. Kelis Miller ran a time of 13.13.
• Amiyah Murray ran a season-best time of 15.21 in the 100m hurdles participate.
• Elicia Bryant ran a personal-best time of 2:18.03 to finish in sixth place in the 800m participate. Rainn Sheppard ran a season-best time of 2:20.14 to finish 15th.
• Layla Simpson ran a personal-best time of 1:02.34 to capture second in the 400m hurdles participate. Tinasia Davis ran a time of 1:10.45.
• Kamauree Randolph ran a time of 25.46 in the 200m participate. Malaysia Gabriel ran a season-best time of 25.74. Lydia Chapple ran a season-best time of 26.24. Kelis Miller ran a time of 27.13. Jaiyah Nelson ran a time of 28.55.
• Murray finished in 14th with a mark of 1.45m in the high jump.
• Charnessa Reid finished fifth with a personal-best time of 5.89m in the long jump. Allysa Fryer had a seson-best mark of 5.15m and Trinity Brooks had a mark of 4.99m.

How it Happened – Saturday events

• The 4x100 relay team ran a time of 46.64 to finish in sixth place.
• Olivia Cosby ran a season-best finishing in fifth place with a time of 55:43 in the 400m.
• Brianna Benloss ran a season-best capturing second in the 100m with a time of 11.53.
• Charnessa Reid won the 100m hurdle with a season-best time of 13.36. Layla Simpson came in ninth place with a time of 14.40.
• The 4x400m relay team captured third place with a time of 3:48.17. The "B" squad ran a time of 4:01.10 to finish 17th.
• Maeghan Wallace finished 15th with a personal-best mark in the shot put (11.96). Amiyah Murray was 34th (10.30m)
• Trinity Brooks had a mark of 10.86m in the triple jump finishing in 25th.

 
The Rams are back in action on April 11th competing at the Southside Power and Fitness Invitational hosted by Lenior-Rhyne in Hickory, North Carolina.
