HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State women's outdoor track and field team powered through the two-day VertKlasse Meet hosted by High Point University.

- The 4x100 relay team ran a time of 46.64 to finish in sixth place.
- Olivia Cosby ran a season-best finishing in fifth place with a time of 55:43 in the 400m.
- Brianna Benloss ran a season-best capturing second in the 100m with a time of 11.53.
- Charnessa Reid won the 100m hurdle with a season-best time of 13.36. Layla Simpson came in ninth place with a time of 14.40.
- The 4x400m relay team captured third place with a time of 3:48.17. The "B" squad ran a time of 4:01.10 to finish 17th.
- Maeghan Wallace finished 15th with a personal-best mark in the shot put (11.96). Amiyah Murray was 34th (10.30m)
- Trinity Brooks had a mark of 10.86m in the triple jump finishing in 25th.
The Rams are back in action on April 11th competing at the Southside Power and Fitness Invitational hosted by Lenior-Rhyne in Hickory, North Carolina.
