Cleo Wallace is inducted into the WSSU C.E. “Big House” Gaines Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding accomplishments as a three-sport student-athlete at WSSU as a member of the football, basketball and baseball teams.  An All-CIAA First-Team selection as a football defensive lineman in 1951, Wallace was a three-sport star for the Rams.  Following a stellar athletic career at WSSU, Wallace returned to WSSU in 1970 when he became the Rams’ head football coach where he spent six seasons amassing a 22-36-1 record.
