Melton Hardee was a WSSU wrestler that was in the class of 1987. Melton rounded up lots of achievements not only as a player but also as a coach some of these achievements where, 1982 CIAA Championship Runner-Up, 1982 Apprentice Champion, 1983 Newport News Champion and CIAA Champion, 4 year varsity wrestler and letterman 1980-1984, and was a member if 4 CIAA Championship wrestling teams.
