Enshrined into the WSSU C.E. “Big House” Gaines Athletic Hall of Fame for football, Donald Frank was a four-year letterman for the Rams’ football team.  An All-Conference selection three times, Frank spent five years in the National Football League as a member of the San Diego Chargers (1990-93), Los Angeles Raiders (1994) and Minnesota Vikings (1995).  A defensive back and member of the special teams units, Frank played in 83 career games where he recorded 14 interceptions that he returned for 315 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
