Winston-Salem State University

Daniel Jacobs is honored as an outstanding football player.  He was an All-CIAA selection and led a Ram defense that posted a 34-10-1 mark during his four years at Winston-Salem State University.  He was selected to the All District 26 football team.  He was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the 1979 National Football League Draft and played for three years before injuries shortened his career.  He was known for his aggressive play during his playing days.
