Enshrined into the WSSU C.E. “Big House” Gaines Athletic Hall of Fame for football, Jack Cameron was a four-year letterman for the Rams’ football team.  An All-CIAA and All-NAIA District 26 selection, Cameron capped a stellar college career with one season of service to the National Football League’s Chicago Bears.  Cameron spent the entire 1984 season with the Bears serving primarily as a kick return specialist. Cameron returned 26 kickoffs for 584 yards for an average of 18.7 yards per return.  He also caught one pass.
